I worry that this may be the case. A lot of us may be setting ourselves up for a huge disappointment. That being said, I'd assume dealers would see a date pushed out in their system before the 26th if Ford really isn't planning on opening orders yet.

That's my assumption! Trying to quell my enthusiasm because I need to wait anyway but I'd really like to check out the build price tool AND test drive one before I commit over 70k to it.

With the way reservations work, you are not committing any money until the dealer gets your truck and you go in and purchase it. You can always decline at that time. No harm to them, it'll just be sold in seconds with markup.


Realistically, we're not seeing test drives until 2022, so don't expect anything before than.

With the way reservations work, you are not committing any money until the dealer gets your truck and you go in and purchase it. You can always decline at that time. No harm to them, it'll just be sold in seconds with markup.

I understand how reservations work. I still want to know what I'm potentially buying and keeping for 8+ years.

There weren't test drives for mme or bronco before orders opened ?

My dealer had said to expect a delay a couple weeks ago... that sometime in Nov-Jan was more realistic.
