I've been curious how Ford was going to make good on its dealership base and now we know. I haven't bought a domestic vehicle in over twenty years and this was me stepping foot on a domestic lot for the first time in as many years. Arguably, I should be one of the first customers if Ford is trying to convert because, as it is, I'm currently looking elsewhere for my EV truck needs.

Been communicating with my dealer all day since the beginning of the post (Thanks Admin for the email), my dealer knew nothing about the new information and was very thankful that I shared it with them. The dealership informed me that, they have 118 reservation as of today, and assured me, that I would be second in line, (if not first, if the guy in front cancels) and still guarantees no ADM and will sell at MSRP. With that said I’m glad I got the dealer I have and didn’t go with one of those guys offering below invoice, I can’t imagine the mess those boys are gonna have?

I guess I must not get frustrated very easily but regardless of any memo or letter or email, I figure there are more folks wanting to buy a product than the manufacturer can produce. At least for the first time period in this case. (my 2022)
I expressed my desire to buy one by making a reservation because I could. But the reservation was hardly an effort or investment so I don't consider it as much of a guarantee other than my number will eventually come up.

I personally avoid the angst, anger, bitterness because it would sully the whole experience for me.
Wasn't that long ago that nobody had even heard of the existence of this truck, yet now we are seething about it. And not ONE has been built yet. ?????

Holding a late reservation, I lowered my expectations months ago. If it is meant to be I will get an F150L eventually.

My Lightning will be the 5th vehicle I have bought from my dealer and salesmen in the last few (2 as of now) years. Let's hope that works in my favor.
