Nope, they determine it 100%

Cool weather helps keep the pack from getting to hot and you save energy without battery fans and a/c. The heater will take more battery SOC as it gets colder. The temperature of the battery is more efficient at 78 degrees F and I find I get a longer charge for more distance at that temperature. You also get a more balanced battery cells when charging at that temperature. This is what I call supercharging the battery with the cells full and balanced.

Exciting times. Looks like the dealers had them automatically put into their system on the 23rd. From the couple of dealers I've looked at, the order numbers are exactly the same. I've seen a couple of PRO's, a Lariat and a Platinum.

EDIT: Found an XLT. This was input on the 22nd. Looks like all models will be built as demo units.

Source for this type of information? Are the bleed resistors ineffective at other temperatures? Are you monitoring the individual strings to confirm this?

We won't see that until it's in-production. There's no way of telling at this point.
