Love the features, all wheel steering, I’d trade range over payload , love the 10.2kwh, but 105k Wowsers no thanks. The best thing about this truck is that it will drive ford to innovate further. We’ve officially got an EV truck race and I like it

But,yeah,2024 is a bit of a ways away

And no information on what $40K gets you, but in 2024 the battery landscape will be cheaper and more readably available. So, it will certainly be 300+ miles.

Same here. Picked the normal truck. Expecting I'll either back out or my Lightning reservation will be so far out that maybe I'll get to choose between these two.

They did the SAME thing as ford, except for the first edition thing. Now everyone is funneled into one "generic" $100 reservation, you don't even pick trim or anything now, and there's no additional pricing (or range information about the standard range).

Prepare for another year or so of people building up this fanciful "40k! 400 mile!" belief

Quit with these $100 deposit move to 1000 and you will find out who is serious. The wife wants a R1S but almost 2 year wait for 1000 moved me away

The technology of the Silverado seems much better than the Ford. 800v charging and their better driver assistance features, it just comes off as a more modern EV.

Eh, I reserved a First Edition & another regular one. I think the truck is super ugly but just in case.

It is hideous but I also reserved one. If I get shafted on my first reservation for the F150, I can decide between the two in late 2023.
