Ford came out on Monday and advised everyone that the email was a mistake to all future lightning owners. Can’t ask for anything more.

Regardless of mistakes, even as laughable as they seem to be in light of today's 'technology and social communications' departments within all these huge businesses, the LIGHTNING will get the priority treatment when it comes to slow-downs, collateral or commodity shortages, and the like, since it has become THE priority for Jim Farley and his new 'Model e' division.
Nobody will notice or care if an Edge or Escape or F250 gets pushed back, but any LIGHTNING back-up will make headlines.

Crosses fingers and hopes the lightning is "protected" from supply issues. Maybe this is why there are only five 2022 waves when it looks like 6 were planned. They also cut it off well before the march 31 deadline to convert reservation to order. I don't know what their conversion rate is 50%? But they cut it off well before finding out the final conversion rate. Maybe they want to protect lightning production and based on the number of offers to convert through five waves and the supply chain issues this is all that they can guarantee.
