Have you (or anyone on this thread) asked for a VVR yet? I'm going to ask my dealer, but they're not tech savvy at all; and I don't know how to show them how to get the info.

That is one of the most basic reports there is - Vehicle Visibility. If they can't get to that one you are in deep trouble. To say the least that is the one that will have your rail car listed I'm fairly certain.

And I'm not sure I answered your first question, but several of us have seen copies or screen shots of the VVR's. Most seem to just have a note that the trucks are pending final release. I don't recall the exact message, however, we know that isn't the case.

I just got off the phone with my dealership, they tried to point me to the Ford status website. I told them the VVR is something the customer doesn't have access to and asked them to check with their manager. Now I'm waiting for a call back. ugh.

Wow - OK - sorry to hear that. I don't know if it is called anything else. Ask them if they've ever looked up a rail car for a shipment. Tell them that is the report you are looking for.

I went to Roberson to see if my dog crates would fit in the rear floor of a SuperCrew cab before reserving, and they did not even know they could was an EV certification, so surprised you they worked out for you, cool!

I did not see the Corvallis dealer (that is how off the radar Ford was for me as I live in South Corvallis). Lucky for me, you two did not pick the dealer I did, or I would not have had an order

The EV club in town meets monthly at EV West, and occasionally has a cruise of downtown Corvallis. Maybe in November or December I will see you two there.

Really? I've chatted with them 3 times and got a new snippet of info each time. I think the first time they gave me my railcar number, and then a few other updates on progress. I just give them my VIN and ask for a shipping update.

I should clarify I'm a 5/2 build week though, so maybe neither your dealer nor the online reps can see much of anything informative for you just yet.

I think you’re right on that. I also tried chat but they kept saying the build date was 6/2 but no other information. They also kept saying to reach out to my dealer.
maybe I can get more info once I get the email saying it’s built.

I just talked to my salesman and he said they are keeping a close eye on it and that’s it built, although I can’t see that in my side of it. I will be the first at their dealership for a Lightning, so they are checking everyday.

He had me send some pics of my Model Y and took some information down, so I can get a trade in amount. I’m also going to take it to carmax and see what they offer, then decide if I’m going to rough it and do a private sale on my own, or spare the headache and take one of their offers.

I want to get a clear coat on it, as I just had a bear scratch up my Bronco on two doors and break my soft top trying to get in. Maybe they can lower the price on the clear coat if the trade in amount is a little low?

Dealers/Carmax rarely offer the max.

And, then take the best offer.

Traded in my Egolf to Shift for $25K earlier this year. Dealer tried to match it, but couldn't, best they could do was $23K.
