Tomorrow is last day of delivery window estimate and still not here I called dealer today and both them and Ford chat said Blue Island, IL. My dealer said they have no info on a rail car or convoy as well. I have sold my previous car to get ready for truck and wife is mad at me because we have had to rent a car on a weekly basis for her. I drive the MME and she will get the Lightning. It can’t get here quick enough

So if you read through the "wife speak" what she is REALLY upset about more than the money is SHE DOESN'T HAVE HER TRUCK!!!!!!!

Are you purposely spreading false hope for those us now in our eighth week since production? Last week my VVR said delay and @FordMotorCompany website STILL has me in production - why would I think my truck will arrive by 7/15 - as usual, nothing from Ford.

changed from 6/26 - 7/3 the day after I got my Built email to 7/3 - 7/9....at this point I don't believe anything I see from Ford

Does this prediction still stand (7/9) max date?


BTW & FYI, I used a programmatic update of all predicted delivery dates of which a large percentage used the early date, so I added 6 more dates to bring them to the Max date, there was the potential to have a few errors in the MASS-UDATE PROCESS.

As to malicious or leading to false hope, that was NOT my intent, I see no humor in the accusation!

PS, until you reach shipped status, I'm at the mercy of individual reports of changed projected delivery ETA, please inform me when it changes.......

A polite correction would sufficed!

No offense was intended - I have been more than praiseworthy of your efforts to inform and keep all of us updated. Sorry you cannot see the tongue-in-cheek sarcasm / humor in my post. As days turn to weeks and weeks to months you'll have to excuse those of not having faith in any programmatic update when Ford refuses to play along, right @Labs4Lightning - sheesh, 81 days for you - fucking pathetic @Ford Motor Company (this last part is not intended to be humor or sarcasm).

My dealership received a drop of 8 vehicles this morning which included one Lightning a special order the spec's of this truck match your build!

I have it on the online tracker as Tasca-MA-SO-1, is this your truck?
I'm taking a ride down this afternoon to look at it!!

I updated the Tasca-MA to DEMO, and adjusted the specifications to the demo, which is similar except for the color, now that we've sorted which is which, it seems timing of train rides from Dearborn assuming on time departures is about 10-11 days including the convoy ride from the train yard. Arrivals are about 9 days ahead of planned ETA for these two deliveries!

Truck was delivered to dealership today! Just went in and signed all of the papers and went for a drive! Picking up tomorrow!

So there I was driving down 101 in Nashua, NH and there's a star white Lightning sitting outside the showroom and the dealer's site lists it for sale. So WTF is up that a truck that the dealer ordered is there but folks that ordered are not getting their trucks yet?

I'll be up there in two weeks, doubt it would still be available but would consider purchasing to have now than keep dealing with the unknown on when mine might show up in Maryland. No probs with dealer selling at MSRP, it's what Ford wants from them and no penalty to them and they still bring home about 10%.
