If my dealer could give me some kind of piece of mind, that if it never delivered or if it was a total loss in transit.. that my insurance wouldn't be picking up the tab (if they even would!) I wouldn't mind doing that. When I asked them about locking in a rate they said I couldn't. But I wonder if they didn't think I would go for something like this.. or have done it before.Ford has to pay for it, because even though its yours, you haven't taken delivery of it yet. but I think you are still stuck with it (no getting out of the loan now).
