I knew it had shipped and had est date of July 29-Aug 5 from Ford. But I wasn't tracking the Convoy or rail cars as I wasn't ever certain how I could do that. I got the build photo from Ford the day before. Based on what I read here, I figured that meant my delivery was going to be very soon. The dealer received the truck the next morning. Ford sent me an email yesterday saying the dealer should contact me soon and I again figured the truck was either here or a day or two away. About 2hr later the dealer called and said come on down. I was there about an hour later and was the dealer's first Lightning delivery.Where you tracking the railcar and expecting it soon?
Or, did it just randomly show up and the dealer call you?
I am still waiting on my offical "approval" of getting the financing together from the dealer, however they never add any ADM to any vehicle. They have a strict policy on this, which is even on their website. I know another dealer who charged 50K over MSRP for a Lariat Lightning.I knew it had shipped and had est date of July 29-Aug 5 from Ford. They had their Lariat mannequin in the showroom form 2-3 weeks before. They received two Lightnings yesterday (mine and another customer's pro). Both were being charged to 100% when I got there. Mine still had some plastic and dirt on it but they cleaned it all up while I was doing the paperwork.
Other than the usual dealer upsales and financing gemmicks, I'd say it was an easy process. I had a lot of anxiety about ADM that wasn't really squashed until maybe 2hrs into the whole signing thing. I had verbal agreements the whole reservation and order timeframe that they wouldn't charge extra on customer orders. ...but they'd never seem to put it in writing. In fact they seems to specifically not say it in writing. Every time I asked via text or email about that I'd get a phone call back saying No ADM on customer orders. But day of signing I wasn't talking to anyone I had before. People had left the dealership or weren't around when I asked for them. I did feel I had no actual guarantee of MSRP until only after financing and upsale attempts were done. It was nerve-wracking seeing other showroom vehicles with 20k ADM stickers on them while I was waiting for my paperwork. One was a Special Order tagged MachE GT which I knew had to have been a customer order that perhaps backed out. I knew they were charging ADM on non-orders and I don't know the story on that vehicle. It just didn't help my anxiety seeing it.
alright fellas, given the estimated delivery dates for the norcal express folks getting moved up, and gorwell's 07/23 arrival date holding, we're feeling pretty good about this weekend right?!
Same as mine.So I’m a little confused by Union Pacific tracing information this morning. It says loaded on 7/21 arrival at industry 7/23 at 10 AM. Does this mean that I can expect it to be here in Northern California probably in Richmond on Saturday?
Last place the train car I tracked before it said it was empty was Valley. Shortly there after my ETA moved up from 8/1-8/7 to Today - Wednesday.Same as mine.
But, I don't think anyone really knows where UP stops at for Norcal delieveries. Richmond stop is BNSF.
UPs map is:
I heard it was Benicia in a older f150 ICE thread, but I asked UP Yesterday and they said it was not going there
Maybe UP uses Richmond too.
Another random artifact I found online that suggests Bencica

How do you find if your ETA moved up ?Last place the train car I tracked before it said it was empty was Valley. Shortly there after my ETA moved up from 8/1-8/7 to Today - Wednesday.
Nice! Wait, wasnt there a commercial about the dangers of sign and drive? Isn't it supposed to be sign THEN dive?Took delivery of this Pro SR on Tuesday. No ADM. No dealer tricks (actually handled everything ahead of time so all I had to do was sign and drive).
Delivery date changed at around the same time. How do you find if your ETA moved up ?
That's what I'm waiting for then I'll know it's off the railJust got this LOL...
BUT... Does this mean someone is MOVING my truck??? Wouldn't be on a rail now would it!!!
