My truck was last tracked Wednesday in Maryland (on a rail car) and supposed to arrive at the trucking yard about an hour from the dealer on Wednesday. Shouldn’t be more than 7-10 days until I receive the truck if all goes according to plan!

Is your truck still on track to arrive Wednesday ? I believe my truck is in the same shipment as yours.

Was supposed to be last Wednesday. It’s been in Massachusetts a couple days but has to go to a second location by rail and then get trucked to the dealer. It gets pushed back an extra day, every day.

Dealer won’t give me a trade in value until the Lightning arrives. Leaning towards keeping my current F150 for a little while and selling it privately later. Not going to trade for the sake of trading when other dealers have offered me over $50k to buy it outright.

Getting a little frustrated in the final days here.

You might be interpreting it wrong.

UP trace gives four bits of info:

1. Current status (never states a real location)
2. Estimated time of arrival at industry
3. UP origin (Chicago, West coast)
4. Shipped from origin (Dearborn)

example:

This means the railcar is loaded and arrived at a major stop/interchange.

Been traveling from Chicago since 7/13.

And here is it at the destination waiting to be unloaded:

Thank you gorwell. Here is the information that I get when I call the UP 800 Number. Let me give this a try - It has been traveling from West Chicago since 7/16 and has arrived at a major stop or interchange on 7/20. So rather than my assumption that it was still in West Chicago, it is well on its way to Richmond CA. I am anxious to get an update that it has been "Placed at Industry".

That's the same info I get when I trace my railcar CNA712433. It was scheduled originally for industry the 22nd ar 10am. Then the 23rd, then 25th, then the 26th, then the 27th. I just checked at 9:00pm and now it's the 28th. The little engine that couldn't strikes again. Hopefully yours doesn't slip to the 28th like mine.

13 days sitting at rail drop off location. Tomorrow is the upper bound of delivery estimate. Will it arrive in time or will the date be moving? We’ll know in a day. Either way, Uber has been a pleasant way to get to the ferry.

Same for me. When I first called it was originally scheduled to be delivered to industry on the 26th. Yesterday it moved to the 27th. I just checked and this morning and it is now the 28th.

The truck is supposed to go to the SF bay area but rail car shows leaving Las Vegas empty,

Just found out mine is in LV too, arrived on Saturday.


It seems like Ford has sent NorCal shipments to LV... Hopefully they know what they are doing and that streamlines things



Odd that you and some other NorCal people got pushed up delivery dates, but it seems like where Ford unloaded Trucks to, the dates would actually have to ship back... Here's hoping that's not the case.

Just got the rail car information from my dealer. Its pulling up to the last stop at 430 today!!!! they should have it in a day or two!!
