I am glad to report that after about 6 delivery date changes I received a surprise call yesterday that my truck was in. Thankfully the banks were still open and off I went. Picked her up yesterday and I am very happy with it so far. Now my focus on this forum can switch to all the cool things we get to do. @TaxmanHog you can close me out as having received delivery on 7/23.... finally!!

My delivery window was pushed back again this morning to 7/25-7/31.

@TaxmanHog @Labs4Lightning Who the hell do you believe. OrderTrack site says shipped. Ford has both "In Production" and "Built" with now 4th ETA (Aug 2 - Aug 8) and Dealer says they get a pre-delivery notice about 48 hours before it arrives and they have heard nothing. If it shipped over the weekend they certainly by now should have received a heads-up. FordPass won't let me activate so unlike my friend Labs I'm totally flying blind.

Just chatted with Ford Chat and they located the truck in Richmond, CA. So, I am officially just waiting for a convoy from the train yard to the dealership. Come on convoy, please make it this week before the interest rate goes up!

has your dealer told you anything about a delay? I went to my dealership over the weekend to ask about when to expect the truck. they told me that there is a truckers strike due to the AB5 bill and I should expect to wait another 2 months. my truck will be at the rail yard on the 27th so I am annoyed, but you know. it is what it is.

Ugh, I hope that's not the case.

My dealer knows nothing. I've asked for status updates, vehicle visibility reports, if there are any holds or delays, no answers. They just go to the order tracking page on Ford's site and give me the dates.

I don't really have TOO much to company about my dealer honestly. they were able to give me the rail car number off of the VVR, so that was really nice of them.

I suppose I will use you as a proxy for my delivery. hopefully there are no delays.

Who did you go with for a dealer? I ran into a guy driving a Lightning over the weekend who I think went with Capitol Ford in San Jose. Said he had no issues, and they honored MSRP for the transaction.
