My train was originally scheduled to arrive at East Brookfield on Friday 7/29 but was delayed along the route between Buffalo and Selkirk, it arrived Saturday evening about 26 hours late.@TaxmanHog did your car get dropped off at the CSX rail lot in East Brookfield, MA? If so do you know how long it took from there to get to your dealer?
I got my railcar number from Ford chat and according to the CSX tracking the train should be in Selkirk, NY tomorrow morning.
Then was placed until unloading Monday morning, the rail yard driver denied my access request, later I resent a request for access.
Then on Wednesday morning, it was loaded on convoy hauler, driver ignored request for access, the haul left the yard mid-day and arrived at my dealer around 4:30 PM on Wednesday 8/3, that evening I paid a visit shot recon photos and sent my salesman a heads up email.
8/4 Thursday morning he called me to say the were jumping on the PDI immediately, and it might be ready in the afternoon, but no later than Friday 8/5. I told I would like to drop by to take a look at it and do an inspection and maybe a test drive. Got there ate 3:30, by 5:00 the deal was done, and we drove the Lightning home.
So the worst part might be waiting on a convoy ride from the rail yard to your dealer!!!
BTW, how far into western Mass are you, Adams?
