Climbed to the 'top of the world', at least in GEORGIA's highest mountain range today - 3,346' elevation on BELL MOUNTAIN 'lover's leap' in HIAWASSEE GA.
Fortunately, I was the only vehicle on the 'not for the Faint of Heart' very skinny, but paved road, winding hard up to the top... from 1,946' to 3,346' in 2.4 miles.
Used 'OFF ROAD' mode, without locking differential, up, and 'POWER' mode, with 1-pedal, on the way down.
The photos at the top show the very 'top' of Georgia, and the very Western bottom edge of North Carolina, between HIAWASSE/YOUNG HARRIS GA and HAYESVILLE NC
0.5kwh on the way up this STEEP STEEP and WINDING SWITCHBACK skinny, but paved, road. Passing any other vehicle is problematic already, but passing another TRUCK, well, that's going to be a tough task. Better now, early in the a.m., with no one else but a Sherrif's Deputy to escort me up, than next LABOR DAY weekend when not only cars and trucks, but motorcycle groups will be trudging loudly up this mountain path. It will certainly be crazy.
1.8kwh average once reaching the Bottom, for a total of 2.5miles. THIS TRUCK CAN DO ANYTHING! I love it. Thank you FORD!
[OMG! I just realized what song I caught on the screen while at the 'top'! God must be watching...]
