Still sitting at plant for on chip hold. Blend 9/16 in production 9/20. Making me anxious. Though, chat still says delivery window 10/7-10/13.

Per Chat my truck was on Chip Hold after "Built", and even after departing on the train. I suspect Chat is a bit behind in getting info on the chip install. It may be far to consider it done once you get a "Built" status. And should ship soon after that.

Having departed Ramp 51 yesterday, my truck gets to the Indiana Harbor Belt (IHB) Railroad Interchange @ Blue Island, Riverdale, IL tomorrow, and eventually the rail car will depart for the final destination in Portland, Or.

Hard to say if this is accurate, but hopeful.

I saw on

On another post someone that works at the factory said, once it shows built it’s done they are just slow to remove the hold in notes

Ask them (or chat) if there is a railcar number (in addition to the possibly outdated chip hold).

Update: I contacted Ford this morning.

Status: The vehicle has been shipped (it was shipped this morning). It was picked-up by Vehi-ship and she *said* the destination was my dealer. I'm almost sure she was mistaken and it is on the way to the ramp to be loaded onto rail.

I asked about chip hold and she says she does see an old one, but doesn't think it is still on hold as the vehicle was released to shipping. She said the VVR DOES NOT show a railcar#.

ETA to dealer is still 10/14 - 10/20

So if I’m on convoy the whole way, does that tend to have handoffs, or do they basically just get a load headed the same direction down I-80 and drop them as they go?
