My tracking page shows In Production. My blend day is 10/27.

When your VIN is sent to production upon generation of the window sticker, or the day before when the VIN is selected, starts your "In Production" narrative status shown in your graphic.

Then soon after you blend day the "in Production" status date populates on the SHOP trackers,

Is it weird at all that I've received zero communication from my dealership? They never acknowledged my Lightning order, they never said anything about me being scheduled for production. They've never reached out about charging or options or financing or anything. The last communication I had with them was about whether the order deposit would be refundable or not.

And honestly, I don't really care that much. I don't see the need for them at all at this point. But it just seems kind of odd.

My dealer is the same. They are fine if I go there or call and ask questions, but they never just give me info. I actually seem to know more about my order than they do.

It says in production and scheduled for production the week of 10/24
You can pull your VIN by decoding the order page data elements, then do more detailed tracking on the shop sites, though it will only show your order confirmation date at this point, then next it will show actual in production date which follows the proposed blend date which you could see on your window sticker using the VIN.

In this instance, though, I'm just more surprised they aren't engaging with me at all. I have purchased three vehicles from them over the past 5 years and they are completely ghosting me.

In this instance, though, I'm just more surprised they aren't engaging with me at all. I have purchased three vehicles from them over the past 5 years and they are completely ghosting me.
That's unfortunate, and totally the control of the dealerships method of operation, they are either understaffed or don't give a care for online orders, sad..... maybe they will not be a Model E dealer in the future?

Or maybe they're hoping they'll get bought out by one of the bigger players.

Same here. I received two emails when I placed my order. One said my salesman wanted to call and they were verifying my number. Six weeks later and still no call. I did call the guy who handles their online orders and he did not have any information I hadn’t already learned online.
Mine called me 5 minutes after ordering to see why I placed an order for the police version of the Pro (I didn't) and haven't contacted me since. I only received my blend date and VIN by checking the website and following the guides the helpful folks here have written. They have known nothing about the process it seems and I am coming to them with questions and instead educating them on what is going on when we do communicate. I would estimate their total amount of hours into the sale at .5, and thats being generous for their time. Total bummer flying half blind.

I got 2 calls.

The day I made the reservation with the $100 deposit, The day I placed my online order and put up the 1K deposit.

Cracks me up the stuff they want to say to make you a friend such bull crap.

I made 2-3 emails and 2 calls to the sales person after the 100 deposit and before the 1K and got no call back or email back

And I am totally fine with that. I don't want to be friends with sleaze ball car salesmen. I wish they would just hand me the keys for a test drive without saying a word :)
