The Tear Tag allows Ford the ability to identify any change made to a vehicle concerning its emission equipment, calibration or any deviation from the standard emissions configuration. It also allows any updates to be controlled and documented.

It is normally the last step after the truck software (PCM Module Programming) has been completed (Populated). Then there will be a manual step where the tag is engraved onto the completed vehicle for future reference.

Question about the window sticker. A couple weeks ago near the top right corner of my sticker it showed 362/842. Now my most recent sticker says 68/460. I'm guessing the previous number was my truck's spot in line out of the total for the week and the new number is the spot in line for a spray in bedliner? Is that correct?

My tag is torn as of today... Seems odd to have a "tear tag" for emissions equipment on a zero emission vehicle!

Assume its just some part of the standard workflow.

Getting pretty excited actually. Hoping we get our trucks by EOY so we can take advantage of the existing tax credit. Also hope to get it soon, its gonna be our Ski car going forward. I actually got the drop in bedliner because we throw all our ski gear in it every weekend. Hated the spray in bedliner with the ski gear

I sold my 2021 Ranger back to the dealer in September for about what I paid for it after using it for a year and a half. Helped him so he had a perfect used truck to put on their lot, and it helps fund my lightning!

Something new happened for me today. Up until now the vehicle has said Activation is unavailable in the Ford Pass app, today this happened (I know it will timeout or fail but I think it means my truck is visible to the cell network):

It is cool that the truck pictured in the app is my actual Avalanche colored Pro trim.

Same here, Avalanche! My brother has a 2017 Raptor in Avalanche and it really sold me on the color.
