How do they put so many miles on a vehicle that was just assembled? Is it someone’s job to drive it around a bit for quality control?

Mine has been waiting for activation for a day or so per the app. Maybe I’ll get lucky and someone will accept my request as well.

Flat rock plant. It shows it in a big parking lot just north of the plant.

It has to be physically accepted by someone in your vehicle. Hitting the activation in your app sends the request down to the vehicle, a message pops up and someone has to hit accept.

The only thing I'm aware of (at least for the Pro model) is their is a 3 month complimentary hot spot from AT&T, but the sign up for that is separate from the activation so it won't start if your truck is active.

Mine just moved to shipped this morning. My delivery date (IA) has shown 11/11-11/17 for the past few days so it’s probably pretty accurate if not a bit pessimistic.

Mine just moved to shipped this morning. My delivery date (IA) has shown 11/11-11/17 for the past few days so it’s probably pretty accurate if not a bit pessimistic.

That was lightning quick! 1 day turn around from built to shipped.

Is it safe to assume, that a built status equates to no chip hold now? They could technically call it built at any point, but to me that means “finished” passed QA etc.
