Maybe someone said it in your post but it depends on your driving.. if you are going on interstate, 75 and 2.0 mi/kwh (131kw battery * 2.0mi/kwh= 260 miles of range on 100%) versus around town of 2.8 mi/kwh (131*2.8= 366 miles of range)
My record so far is driving about 8 miles and ending up with 1 more mile of range than when I started! Gravity assist baby! I saw a max of 16.X mi/kwh.

So far in about 2500 miles I am averaging 2.1mi/kwh on my Lariat ER which would be ~275 miles. In local driving I see between 2.3 and 2.5 which would give me the EPA range. On a recent ~1000mi road trip, I averaged 2.0mi/kwh overall. In the mornings when it was colder I was getting 1.7 to 1.8 (heater on) but that went up to 2.1-2.2 in the afternoon when it warmed up (climate off). This was travelling between 72 and 77 mph for the majority of the highway miles.

Overall almost exactly when I expected, so I have no complaints.

Further south of you, So Cal - SR Lariat getting 270 mi (440kM) range.

Dropped about 10% from 290 mi (460 kM) max I had when temps were in the 80-90'F (32'C)

Very slow traffic - urban jungle - bumper to bumper - no climate controls.

I average 3 mi/kWh.

Is phantom loss with R1T as bad as they say it is?

Are there parking spots you pass on when driving Lightning that you wouldn’t have with R1T? (Does size matter)?

I CAN’T believe I am saying this but based on what I have read on both forums, I trust Lightning more to get me to my destination without any issues. It seems like there are more R1Ts that refuse to get out of driveway or have serious problems. Have you had more problems with one?

Do you miss the feeling of luxury in Pro? Are the seats OK as they are or did you have to do anything to make it acceptable?

when you go for a trip that range is not the issue, which one would you take?

have you found the 1500 W power of R1T insufficient?

I could go on forever but I am sure I am already over the line with the subject of the thread.

I would trust your gut. Also if you like try following these guys, YouTube and such.

I have a cheap ass gut and if dealer don’t screw me over, I will likely be driving a Pro.

I have been watching their videos.

Another concern I have with Rivian is as the financial pressure builds up for them, they will have to find ways to squeeze more money out of the owners with service policies or go out of business (riskier option). Suspension on R1T worries me a bit but all the cooling hoses in Lightning could multiply chance of something going wrong too. Only time will tell about long term reliability.

No, but its noticeably worse than the F-150L.

Size matters, but more on the interior than exterior. Parking - in a spot or navigating the lot - has not been a noticeable difference.

The Rivian drives bigger than it is, the F-150L drives smaller than it is. The rear flare of the Rivian specifically makes it more difficult for me to gauge my size, especially on 1.5 lane black country roads with no shoulder, a ditch, and an oncoming pickup. On the F-150L, I barely slow as I can put the tire inches from the side. On the Rivian, I almost always come to a crawl as I'm not as confident about where my rear wheels are.

Neither has left me stranded or frustrated. Both have been and remained operational. I have not had to call roadside with either one. These were similar concerns to Teslas when they first launched as well. It seems more of a feels than an is.

On a personal feeling, I feel that cars need to be driven. ICE or EV, let them sit and problems crop up. VERY generally speaking, the ones that are babied seemed to have more issues...

No, I actually prefer the interior of the Pro. The R1T wows more immediately, no questions. But the F-150L is far more functional.

The R1T looks significantly better, but my lower back starts hurting if I sit in them for more than 3-4 hours. Lower back has not hurt yet on the Pro so I'm ok with the seats of the Pro. Lack of height adjustment isn't ideal for me as I'm not that tall.

Really depends on use. I can't stress this enough.

1) Anytime I'm with my wife & kids, the F-150L.
2) If I'm picking things up, moving, etc. (furniture, piano, mattress,) - R1T.
3) If I'm doing daily driving/chores, by myself - Either one works, mood of the day, usually the R1T.

If I'm actually going somewhere road trip wise - this one can't be answered alone, especially without range consideration. My Pro doesn't have Bluecruise, point to the R1T. My Pro is more comfortable, point to the F-150L. The R1T can disconnect two motors for better emergency efficiency, but range isn't considered. So it's a tough call. All things equal - F-150L ER Lariat vs R1T, I'd rather do the long miles in the F-150L than the R1T.

No. It's been used for cordless tool recharging, pull along winches, recharging & jumping an ICE vehicle, powering a fridge, etc.

That said, it’s not the power that is an issue. It’s the availability of 120V outlets that becomes a pain. I carry an extension cord that I use pretty frequently in my R1T.

Took the back roads with my SR and I see 2.2, 2.3 mi/kwh. It's cool getting places with way more charge than ABRP says we will.

I'm driving around town and freeway in my ER Lariat and it's telling me I have maybe 240 miles when 100%. Not what I thought it would be but I get it that the weather's getting colder and I have been on the freeway maybe half the time.
