I see wishful thinkers and optimists hoping to get their 22 full tax credits spread around different threads. I thought for the next 18 days we could share the drama here. May be someone will use this thread to make a movie some day. It could also help us develop a more realistic expectation by seeing what happens to people in different groups. Mine has a body and a brain but I don't have a delivery estimate. I know it is unlikely for me but I am keeping the hope alive. Are you on the edge of your seat? Feel pretty secure? or feeling like there is no way?

Does anyone know what is the sign that delivery estimate is available to Ford customer service? I have the tear tag and in production date but no estimate.

I can't use the tax credit so whether it arrives before or after the new year is immaterial to me. But it will be nice to get the truck so I still have hope for an early arrival.

I didn't get any ETA until I received the "shipped" email from Ford last night. The ETA was then available when I logged into my ford account at Ford.com. The website showed 1/2/2023 - 1/8/2023 deliver ETA. I chatted with support this morning and they quoted 1/8/2023 delivery and provided railcar.

It looks like 15 days is about the fastest trucks have made it to CA. I don't think it's realistic to expect it this year, but I suppose there's a chance if if everything lined up perfectly. I'm really hopping to qualify for $7,000 CPO, $5,000 price protection, $2,000 CVBP, and $7,5000 federal tax credit.

Does anyone know if the pro will qualify for any of the federal rebate next year? I can't seem to find any definite answer on this. I'm hopeful it will qualify for at least $3,750. If I miss out on all of the federal tax credit and the dealer doesn't honor the full price protection I won't be able of afford the truck :/

Thanks for info on the process. CS just told me the only way I get the estimated delivery is calling them and when I asked if I could see it on Ford site he said no. I think they make up the answers as they go.

I wouldn't back down with the dealer $5K and $7K if they start to play games. My dealer had no problem putting the total price including those in writing. I am hoping they won't start acting up at the delivery.

I don't have a definite answer for 23 Tax credit but I think $3,750 is very likely for Pro. Your build week is a week ahead of mine and I was at the end of my week. Although Maryland is closer,

I’m more than likely first week of 23 for delivery . I won’t be eligible for the credit next year.

Has anyone contacted the dealer yet to get a signed order showing deposit down? Reading the IRS web, it sounds like that is the documentation required which could allow the current credit to be applied?

Why do you think you won't be eligible next year? Your truck is under $80K. If the battery does not qualify, you may get the $3,750K.

I don't think the signed deposit thing applies if you take delivery in January. First the deposit have to be more than $500 most of us paid. If I remember correctly around 5% of the price. Second it had to be prior to when the whole thing was announced months ago. Rivian tried to get people to pay the deposit then to get around it but upon closer inspection, no one could really use it. I think the short of it is if you put your truck in use this year you are good for $7,500 if you don't, more likely $3,750 (no one really knows yet). That is my understanding. Others can chip in if I am wrong on any of this.

I think there was a date in August that was the cut off for the deposit loophole that Rivian jumped on. I wouldn't chance it with the IRS.

I spoke to my salesman and asked him if I was able to sign All the paperwork prior to the vehicle showing up and he told me 'I'm pretty sure that's illegal in North Carolina". Long story short their not doing it lol.

ETA should be visible on your personal order page on FORD.COM once your truck has reached built status.

A positive sign is when your truck has been assigned a railcar. That means it has been scheduled for departure from the ramp in Michigan.

A month ago, I got a production date of β€œweek of 12/12”. Blend date is 13Dec (today). My chances of getting the truck this year are slightly less than zero. πŸ˜€

I won’t qualify on the income limit.

β€˜If there is a chance less than zero, anything is possible. Keep the faith ;)

p.s. you are close enough to Michigan that Farley could deliver your truck personally.

Is there any other way than calling CS that I could know that has happened?
