Yesterday the dealer told me it is outside of Pittsburgh. However when I call with the train # TTGX988327 that customer service gave me I get the response there is no tracing found.

Hmm message them again. Maybe they messed up on a digit??

Wishful thinking. I already did that too. Same rail car number. At this point I just keep checking the auto carrier site to see if it shows to be shipped. At least that has it as inactive.

I have an ETA of 1/9-1/15, which was originally 12/23-12/29/22. Just called my dealership. He said my truck is on the lot in New Boston, so next step is loading it onto a train & sending it to Jessup, MD for transfer to the dealership. He is fairly confident I'll receive it before the end of the month, but has seen things take a long time from this stage so makes no promises.

Dang! Well it showing inactive is good since it’s my understanding that it won’t show at all of a shipping plan isn’t made. Very odd there are no train updates though

Exciting to hear that members of our build group are getting their trucks this week! I have to admit I’m a little jealous. Ford customer service tells me mine is still on the chip hold. Are any others still on the chip hold? I’m worried that “chip hold” is just a euphemism for, “something‘s wrong and we don’t know what’s going on.”

Sick!! Why can’t you pick it up today? I was planning to head to my dealer as soon as I get an in route notice from United road lol. Meet it at the dealership .

I don’t need them to add their badge to it, put on cheap ceramic coating, send it through the car scratcher (washer), etc. Unload it and give me the keys lol

I'm in the same situation I spoke to a Ford CS representative yesterday and she mentioned that notes for a chip hold after receiving built status are just the last notes on the account not necessarily that it's still on a chip hold. Since no other status was added it refers back to last noted status while still retaining built status.

Don't know if I am still on chip hold or not. Trying to get a solid answer on that, but it is more elusive than you would think.

What I do know is that my estimated delivery date is now 1/28-2/3.
