My ford pass app for the first time lets me try to activate (Activation Pending). Not sure exactly what it means as far as what stage of the process it is (still around 1K lines of code) but it is alive

I've been "Activation Pending" for over a week now. Keep longing for someone, somewhere to click "Accept." :-(

It was too late yesterday to grab her so I took delivery today around lunchtime. Crazy that mine came first out of our week when my blend date was the very last day. 23 days from production to delivered!

I dunno about minute by minute report you all will get yours soon enough so don't want to spoil any thing haha.

but will say it came to the dealer with 89% charge and they put it on the charger overnight and it went to 100%.

Also, after driving for 80 miles found the setting to turn off the fake engine noise. Much prefer the silence then artificial noise.

nice looking truck! is it iconic silver? i am in build week 12-19-2022 and ordered a Lariat; iconic silver. have a delivery date of 01-03-2023 to 01-09-2023. hoping to have mine in my driveway soon! thanks for posting a photo of your truck!

Like everyone else in this group, I reserved a Lightning day one May 2021. By the time the end of the year rolled around and gas prices were soaring I was spending $90 every 3 days for fuel in my 20 Lariat.
I ordered a Premium Mach E ER with hopes it would come in and give me some relief while I waited on the Lightning.
When it appeared that the Premium was going to take forever I found a Select Mach E SR at MSRP on a lot so I decided to experiment and see if a standard range battery might work for my daily commute of 160 miles round trip at that time and I might only need the standard range battery in the lighting since implementing the price increases.
21,000 miles and 9 months after I purchased the select the Premium Mach E arrived so I took delivery of it for the tax credits.
Now I’m anticipating the delivery of the Lightning any day now and have already negotiated the trade in value of the Premium.
I also want to point out that back around Thanksgiving 2021 I had solar installed using the Covid money they threw at us. Our house is 100% electric. I bought the Ford 48 amp charger back when I first ordered the Premium and have never charged outside my home. I have not had an electric bill nor a fuel bill since purchasing an electric vehicle and putting 24,000 miles on them.
After buying and selling the 2 Mach E’s with the tax credits and state rebates at the end of the day my SR XLT will be $45,000.
The only maintenance I have had performed in the past year is 2 tire rotations that I used my Ford Pass rewards on.
Just sharing my experience since I was going through paperwork for the tax man.

Just got off the phone with ford support. Mine is off the train and sitting in Atlanta where it will stay for the next 5 days. . .

Not entirely sure why it is just going to sit there, but the expected arrival at my dealer isn't until the 10th.
