I reached out to my dealer, they're saying the truck was "received" by a transporter today and my new Estimated Delivery is the 19th. I asked if the Transporter receiving it means they've accepted the order and will schedule its delivery. He said yes, that was correct.

The tracker still shows the 7th as the Estimated Delivery Date.

Here's hoping the 3rd time is the charm...

Fingers crossed man. Ford CS chat can be next-to-useless. The dealer *should* have much better visibility into the truck's actual status with their recently updated tracking tool. If it makes you feel any better, I didn't even have a delivery estimate from Ford until the truck actually landed in Colorado 50 miles from me -- was tracking via Union Pacific along the way knowing Ford CS was perpetually wrong. After that, the delivery estimate generated was quite accurate, however.

To be “fair” once ford turned the truck over to the convoy or transportation company there isn’t much else they can do unless you’re part of the “elite/celebrity” group of people. Can you imagine how much resources they would need to chase carriers to make deliveries for everybody. Just grateful we (most of us) will get the 7500 credit refund

Hey fellow 12-12'ers. Something to look for when you take delivery of your Lightning.

I got a set of raised tail gate letters and when I did my prep, I noticed some over spray that looked like glue. I am guessing is is something from the bonding process. In looking at the whole truck its all over the flat surfaces (hood, top of bed-tailgate). Its hard to see unless you hold a flash light to it. You can definitely feel it if you run your fingers over the paint. It comes off with rubbing alcohol. I'm taking mine to get ceramic coated tomorrow, so I going to point that out. If they do proper prep, it should not be an issue.

Check yours out and if the finish is not smooth, hold a flashlight on it. You will see small brown specs. Have your dealer fix it before taking delivery.

Truck arrived rail yard today and just yesterday Tesla made a big price cut to their car so it now qualify for the 7500 credit.

Chances are I won’t get the trade in value for my Mach e that was offered to me last Friday. If I decide not to take delivery because it does not make financial sense I will post it so if anyone interested can try to grab it hopefully for a reasonable price. Pro with tow package and spray in bed liner.

I finally picked up my Azure Grey Metallic Tri-Coat from the dealer yesterday. Everything went smooth and drove it home. Love the truck. Thanks everybody here for helping through this process. Its been a long one. Enjoy your trucks all

little tiny orange/brown specs? I found a few but it was in an area that I'll never care about and could hardly see. I pointed it out only so they would know incase it was rust (which I didn't think it was)

Yes, they are tiny orange/brown specs. I dropped mine off at the dealer this morning for ceramic coat and pointed it out. You have to be at the right angle to see them. I used my cell phone flash light to show them and they popped right out. You can definitely feel them. Mine are on the hood, roof, top side of bedside. Its almost like it came from above. Comes off with rubbing alcohol.

I have show cars, so I'm pretty picky about my finishes.

Interesting. When the rain stops I’ll see if I can feel them or find more. I’ll also try rubbing alcohol on them. Will be back with info tomorrow probably

Hi 12/12 friends! For those in Northern California, I just got word from my dealer this morning that the truck arrived at the port of Richmond yesterday. He said that it can be there anywhere from a couple of days to 1-2 weeks! However, he shows that the truck will be delivered on 1/18 in Morgan Hill. This is an improvement from his original date of 1/20. For reference, my truck shipped (according to Ford) on 12/28. Here's hoping there are some others out there with mine waiting for a ride to the local dealership next week!
