There was 13,500 through November 2022, they've ramped up since then. Ford is averaging about 4,600 a month in 2023.Where you getting the 20k+ number? That is higher than any data I’ve seen

Major bummer, I feel legitimately bad for you.you're lucky. Maybe I worry about it if they ever fix my truck
Thank you for posting this. I wish I knew to try the other neutral shift methods before my truck was dragged up on the flat bed tonight.Btw I was livid about the dragging so I spoke to the service manager, and he said yeah we don't know and I asked my Ford rep and he didn't know either. Someone sent me this link:
Good for everyone to know because it shows how to hard reset your truck!
I love the dealer does the same thing I do when I need to fix something. He probably couldn't find a YouTube video on how to fix it so he moved on to the forums.Dealer called yesterday to say they are continuing to work on it even while waiting for Ford - so I misunderstood that. They think its something in the high voltage section. When i mentioned the first response on this forum about the contactor was probably right the service manager said yeah I saw the forums. So he's watching -
Yep, which is why I started a poll. Now I realize the respondents will mostly be people with issues. Out of 62 respondents 18 have issues. Seems like a large number with a similar issue. There were 1500+ views so the participation is low. Actually we did have a “I have no problems” thread and of course after I said I don’t have problems I lost my truck for 35 days .It's the forum. When something goes bad, people find a place to get help. People don't post "still no problems with my truck". There are over 20,000+ Lightning owners. You can tell when problems are common as you will see multiple threads asking the same thing...like "why did my FordPass stop responding".
I’d like to know what triggers a “cell” replacement. For my own sanity and confidence in my “repaired” truck. So the service manager called me and they found a problem in a cell and some other parts. Parts are 4 to 6 days but it sounds like a cell needs to be replaced and the availability isn't quite clear. Waiting to hear back.
Just a couple hours later the rep at ford replied that my buy back was approved and I should receive a letter in 3 to 5 days. I am relieved and upset at all the same time
