Power-Up 4.2.1 - Precondition Alert failed updates

4.2.1 came in yesterday after I got home. I noticed the K/Mile were a little lower than normal on the way home. Maybe it was charging the LVB on the way home and did the update while it was connected to home WIFI. I don't see any differences yet, but I have not looked around much either.

Also noticed this is the text in Fordpass app. Appears to be the same one as 4.1.1. May be it is different in the truck...

Are you suggesting I don't have the update even though my phone and console claims I received an update? If not can you clarify how this link pertains to not have the new UI after getting the update?

The 4.2.1 that was released today contains a fix for the FordPass connectivity. Others that have already recieved the 4.2.1 have claimed they recieved another 4.2.1 update today.

I must've accidently responded directly to your post vs adding a reply to the thread.

The new UI has nothing to do with this as far as I know.

Drove home. Plugged in. Voila, FordPass notifies me 4.2.1 installed.

Haven’t any issues that I know of since taking delivery on 2/18. I fiddled with the Software Update in truck. Set schedule for Thursday-Saturday at 1am.
Truck shows update is available for download, Ford Pass app under vehicle alerts shows Update Successful. I plugged in and set the parking brake to see if updates tonight. Not sure how some say get it driving around. I don’t know what version I currently have, it shows Sync4, version: 22326_PRODUCT, Revision: 640.
I’m guessing if it does not update tonight…I will try the fuse and/or 12v trick.
