Ford Power-Up 4.2.2 Voice Feedback

Although some members have reported receiving 4.2.2.1 , I haven’t seen anyone post 4.2.2 yet. It includes the ability to share voice feedback with Ford directly through the truck . Maybe they’d like feedback on the numbering system ?

I just got it tonight after a short drive. Interesting it is only for Lariat and Platinum.

That would probably mean it is an APIM update for SYNC 4a.

I wonder if Pro/XLT owners will get a seperate 4.2.2, or a different revision number all together for our next SYNC update?

Ford is walking a tricky development line. Seems a little disorganized from my, uninformed, perspective.

They essentially have 2 UI operating systems (SYNC 4 and 4a) while using a singular revision system across both (Ford Power Up). All trims can recieve the same updates for various modules (and have the same revision number, like the multiple releases of 4.2.1), yet some updates are unique to the SYNC version.

Got this on my XLT overnight as well. In addition to the voice record feedback option there is also now more choices for scheduling updates.

We should all put in our request to have the battery percentage on the screen at all times, not just in Blue Cruise only. It should be made available on all screens and not just the calm screen.

I am sure the owner's of the lower price trims whose opinion does not matter as much will get a modified version of this. For XLT and Pro, you can push the button and say what you think. It just won't be recorded anywhere. It will be added to help owners feel better about their problems by expressing themselves The Pro/XLT feature is called Shrink Couch
