Was this something you had to ask/negotiate for or offered as a “good will” gesture?
I pushed for the rental since this issue occurred within the first 30 days of owning and needed to tow an RV for a vacation. They offered the extended warranty maybe a couple a weeks of having my truck back. I think because I complained so much about it when first happened maybe that's why they did it.

The dealer may fight you on the loaner but Ford should not. They can and do offer gas reimbursement if you have an EV, they did so for me. I am loving my Pro-4x, but hate paying for gas....

I’m at week 2. They tell me another week for parts (a bad cell in one of the modules). Hopefully get it back soon. Can’t believe how quickly I got used to driving it and now miss it. 😞

Did anyone who had this issue receive any compensation or anything for being weeks/month without your truck? Continued making payments and paying fuel for loaner?
I hope you get your truck back soon.

I was never reimbursed for my rental. I think it all depends on who gets your case with the BEV team. She had me send receipts then disappeared. Completely non responsive and I gave up. @Ford Motor Company needs a standard policy on this.

Just got this message last week. Have 6000km on it. Just waiting to see what happens next. I was offered a loaner from my dealership. 2023 Bronco Sport.

Hmm i have the same thing on June 16th but it went away. Only had 200 miles on the truck. Should I be concern or should I contact the dealer. Brought the truck May 25th, 2023. 2023 Pro. Dealer recieved the truck May 10th, 2023.

High probability of bad cell in a module of the battery pack. Let Ford BEV setup the repair. When was the truck manufactured? See my spreadsheet of tracking battery associated repairs needed.

I just had this issue start today on my ‘22 Lightning with 11,000 miles. Power limited to 20% and restarting the truck several times did not die the issue. I had it towed to the dealer but they said they can’t even look at it until next week. I’m settling in for a long time without my truck unfortunately

Today I got the dreaded Powertrain Malfunction Reduced Power alert on FordPass with dashboard Service Needed displayed and then truck went into limp mode only allowing to be driven up to 15mph back home. Turned off and then started it 10 minutes later and all dashboard notifications were gone. Hopefully, it was just a glitch but have a dealership appointment on Monday to check it out. Wish me luck.

Is this failure just inevitable? I'm very worried about it!

My truck as well as many others are working basicly perfectly, don't let a concentration of incidents which tend to gravitate to forums like this disturb your experience with your Lightning, cross that bridge if you come to it.
Good advice, thanks. Ive been staying away from the forums actually since I got the truck as I didnt want to see the negs, but popped back to read the steps for Frunk beep delete (which Im doing today) and saw more threads on it...
Will post when necessary 😊
