I assumed it would be rail as well, but the window sticker does not indicate Rail (Ramp One: CA42 CONVOY)...I forgot to ask though, so I could be wrong.

It's rail for sure to Oregon, last several miles by convoy.

We went through Navy Federal, 5% interest rate. Put around 30k down. Navy federal was great, they did it all within an hour.

Did you have any problems with Navy? First time using them, and the rate and approval was super quick, but they insisted on sending me a check directly and it has disapeared for a week and no one can tell me where it is. So i'm stuck unable to pick up the truck until I have their payment in my hands. Not sure why they just cant work directly instead of sending this through snail mail.

I did not. They cut me a check that day. There’s a lot of variables here so I’m not sure exactly how I can help best, but here was our scenario - we did NOT do a pre-approval certificate, because we knew exactly the truck we wanted and exactly the price. I also had the price sheet the dealer gives to the bank so they knew all of the information. I also covered about 40% of the down payment.

They gave us the option to pick up the check in person or through the mail, but given there’s a NFCU every 6 blocks in the DMV we opted for pick up. Ultimately they cut it the day we opened the account so we didn’t even get that far.

But overnighting a check takes 48 hours to actually send out. That certainly makes the most sense...I had just read differently in other places before arriving here. Either way, it is maybe a couple days out. Then a question of it sitting in a train yard or not, waiting for dealer pickup...yuck.

Just chatted with Ford...her info was quite different than what my dealer said (told me it was in Montana yesterday)

LOL - we LIVE on that tracking site...not exactly an up-to-the-minute provider of info. I promised not to bug my dealer again until tomorrow...so the wait continues.

Oh so you did this all via phone/email? Crap, I think that might be the big differentiation here. That sucks, I hope you get the check soon!!

Confirmed with the dealership that my truck arrived at the railhead in Dallas this morning….

Took 8 days, shipped date was 10/10. The tracking website says it updated today but the delivery date is still estimated to be 11/4 to 11/17!!!

My dealer just texted me and said my Ruby is in Montana (final destination Portland, OR). About 900 mi out or so? So, hoping two more days on the road...maybe pick up on Friday or Saturday?

I am getting NOTHING done at work right now!

Excellent!! I'm about two hours south of you (Corvallis area) so maybe our trucks are on the same convoy rig??

Check the estimated delivery date on the Reservations and Orders page on the Ford website. It might have a more accurate delivery date.

This order doesn’t show up there (ordered 7/28/23), the only thing I see is the reservation I did for the lightning back in the winter of 2021 which I cancelled a couple months later and don’t see any option to add this order.

I also tried getting my "second" order added to my Ford account but no luck. I don't think the dealership would try anything funny but wish it was officially linked

Yup, got the "Built" Email Monday, but doesn't explain why my dealer said it had shipped.

EDIT: He sent me this last week, but I didn't think Dearborn was the plant. I dunno...

Have you contacted your dealer? I wouldn't trust the tracker 100%.
