i'm thinking this problem is caused by Fordpass 4.30.2, months ago in an older version I tested reduced rates of charging and it worked and stuck to the reduced settings, now not so much.

I noticed this same issue recently. My unit is on a 60amp circuit set up for 48amps. Back in February when it was installed, I could adjust the charge rate on the software with no issue. In the past few weeks I've noticed that even if I set the output to 32amps in Ford Pass and it accepts it, I'm still getting 48amps. I think @TaxmanHog may be onto something with the latest Ford Pass update breaking something.

I try to connect my FCSP to FordPass and keep going round and round with these screens. It just keeps going back and forth between FordPass and CSP Setup apps.

Hit cancel, also turn off the mobile device wifi, use your cell connection.

This is assuming the FCSP has bonded to your home wifi

Connection to the FCSP is definitely messed up right now. Last week I tested by trying to lower to 40A and while it showed that it saved in the app, the indicated charge rate was always at 80A. I didn't charge all weekend and forgot to plug in Sunday night and woke up with 30% SoC. So I plugged in to get a bit more before leaving for work and wanted the full 80A. What did it do? 40A...and nothing I did on the app would give me anything else. *sigh*

On sunday I switch the manual setting to #4 which is 40 amps max. I made it manually because the app does not make the changes. On tuesday just for the heck of it I tried it again and switch it to 24 amps using the app to see what happens and of course nothing happened, it still charged at 40amps. So I just closed the app and forgot about it. Last night when I plugged it in guess what, it began to charge at 24amps.

Anyone having issues with their unit not drawing the full 19kwh?
- I have a 100amp breaker
- 3awg wire
- unit dialled to “7” to draw the max 80amp
- app showing 80amp

Any suggestions why the truck is not drawing the full 19kwh? I max out at 10kwh…

Just to confirm because your profile just says Lightning. You do have an Extended Range battery right? And you didn’t buy a FCSP but it was sent to you for free. And your truck is a ‘22 or ’23?

Good questions. I only have a standard range 2023.
….I think I know where this is heading lol
Yep the Standard range can only charge at 11.3 kW max input. It has a single onboard charger. The 22 and 23 ER have a dual charger so can do 19.2 kW.

You can only charge at 48 amps max.

Yep. SR has only the single onboard charger. 11 is the most you’ll ever see.
