Mine shipped on 10/26. On a third wave of "estimated delivery" dates. Keep in mind I'm only half of Lake Erie from the plant. The 3rd est has a week gap from the 2nd est. Truck is somewhere in the twilight zone.I put a deposit on a Lariat ER. It was shipped on 10/31, but the dealership still hasn't received it. Two days ago, the estimated delivery got bumped. It's now saying next week till T-Giving.
That doesn't make sense, but I suppose it's possible they discovered a last minute build issue before they could load it onto a rail car or convoy, too bad they didn't revert it from "shipped" status as of 10/23.
Not sure what he looked at. Was on hold for awhile. He wasnt very chatty. My salesman is off so thats how I ended up talking to him. He said he had to make some phone calls to people that didnt work the weekend. Hopefully I get the scoop come Monday. I'll be surprised if the truck ever goes on a train. Its a 3 hour round trip to my nearest railroad. Rouge is only a 5 hour drive from my dealer. Just doesnt seem like it would make financial sense to rail it. But, a lot of things dont make sense. Did he do a VINVIEW locator map on your truck? That could confirm that it's still at the factory.
I still think it's just stuck at the arriving rail yard, waiting on a last minute convoy ride.
