Did they get the battery module yet? They ordered one for mine, didn't have an ETA but acted like hopefully it should be ready next week.
I’m not sure if they got it, but they were expecting to have it within about a week.

just to update my powertrain/battery control module situation for posterity: dealer says they've ordered the part but that it will take anywhere from 10 days to a month to arrive and they couldn't provide me a truck as a rental so I've picked my lightning back up and am rolling the dice that the issue doesn't get worse and leave me stranded, but my work requires a truck so here I'll hopefully be limping along with 63% battery capacity and 52% power for the next few weeks.

Yikes! Best wishes, but judging by other stories here, that is not going to end well.

You need to call the Ford EV support hotline and tell them you need a truck.

My final update for this issue folks. So Ford had my truck in shop for 19 days. They replaced the bad battery module and also completed 4 other safety recalls from letters I received in mail (rear light bar wiring, steering wheel wiring and heated grip, and a few others software updates). I read somewhere that it can take days (thought I read up to 22 days) for new battery module to sync with rest of modules and gain its efficiency back to 100% charge/max mileage. I haven't charged my truck yet since back from dealer but if I have any issues will keep you all updated. This ordeal has been frustrating for sure but I'm glad to have my truck back. As I've said before I don't mind being an early adopter and don't mind some inconveniences but I just don't want this to become a regular occurrence either. I'm curious as to percentage of Lighting owners that are experiencing similar issues but Ford probably doesn't have data on that yet. I'm still bullish on Lightning, this truck is really bad a$$. I expect Ford will work out its bugs and do right by all Lighting owners. Happy holidays everyone.
well im joining this club with my 2023 Lightning... Just got it in October 23 and have 3900 miles on it. briefly got the Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power alarm but it went away after stopping/restarting the truck. now Im at the mercy of my dealer, hoping they will listen to all the helpful advice you guys posted in case they're not familiar w this problem

Sounds like your issue may have just been a glitch, possibly occurring after a software update, due to your alarm clearing after cycling the truck.

I believe most of us that have experienced the powertrain malfunction and/or the high voltage alarm and require battery module replacement have a situation where the alarm doesn’t clear after cycling the truck on and off.

when I got the alert on my dash the truck did lose power- I could only go about 20 MPH until I pulled over and stopped the truck. does that tell you anything?

Hotline for me has done little not nothing to help me. Understaffed to say the least.
Good luck. Mine has been in the shop since
December 5th waiting for new parts.

I called and spent about an hour on the phone with them, they reached out to my dealership. Can't say for sure if it did anything but the part came in yesterday and my truck should be all set by saturday.

I believe you said your powertrain malfunction alarm cleared after powering the truck off and restarting, correct? If yes, I’m thinking the system just needed to reboot itself, but I’m certainly no expert, that’s just based on doing research on my own issue.

Add me to the list. '22 Pro that just rolled 20K miles. Recieved the orange wrench of death, reduced power to 57% and wouldn't charge over 66%. Dealer diag stated that module 5 bad. No idea on an ETA yet.
