I would not say that list is above average. All these vehicle including my own report codes all the time; even when they're working fine. Many people with the EV's (particularly the Mach E) have been reporting PAAK issues.

As far as communicating this to the dealer: They have access to this same data. If you tell them my truck is having issue a b and c, they will pull these codes to track down the source of the problem. Best thing you can do is just point out to them the issues you are having and hope they can figure it out. You don't have to show the list to them as they can see everything I can see.

Rugedraw.... my dealer has had my truck for the last 3 weeks. I'm curious to see what codes its thrown since its been in their possession dicking about. I saw it had a charge fault of some kind today. Would it be possible to re-pull that DTC report again??

Rugedraw.... my dealer has had my truck for the last 3 weeks. I'm curious to see what codes its thrown since its been in their possession dicking about. I saw it had a charge fault of some kind today. Would it be possible to re-pull that DTC report again??

Vehicle history shows a PMI of the SOBDM was done today around noon. At 6:39 pm, it reported this code to the cloud:


The TSB associated with that code asks them to update the BCCM which they have not done yet. It is unclear why the PMI'd the SOBDM. The truck was sitting untouched for a while until today. I assume they opened a case with engineering and were told to do what they did? Hard to tell. As hard as it may be, I would just be patient and let them do their thing.

Everything looks good to me in terms of updates. Hardly anything pending other than a BCM. Seems like this truck was blessed with FDRS recently.

I see it threw come codes on 6/1. It is intermittently recording some codes in relation to driver assist features in the IPMA. Is the truck having any issues?

Of the SSM's and TSB's referenced there, attached are the ones I think are relevant. Could be a loose connection; it could be a bad battery. It you are having issues, I would reset the IPMA with FORScan and see if that cleans things up. If not, a dealer visit may be warranted.

Everything looks good to me. Better than good. Your truck seems very happy and not recording any codes at all which is super rare. Your last OTA was just 3 weeks ago. If you think that's a long time without getting an update, then brace yourself for disappointment.

Haha thanks… it seems like for a bit it was 2 a week then was much less frequent hence I thought it might have gotten stuck .

No, the term "stuck" gets thrown around a lot on these forums. The OTA process is unpredictable. You get what you get when you get it with no rhyme or reason.

You are on the latest Sync available for F150's ICE or EV. I don't have an EV, so not sure what update you are referring to. If you mean the SoC on the instrument panel, that is an IPC update (6.8.0) and for some reason, it is not releasing for a lot of people even with FDRS.

You'd need the CMR, IPMA/PSCM and SCCM. The IPMA/PSCM are only available with FDRS.

That is perfectly normal for a newly acquired 2023. The 4.x.x comes first followed by the 6.x.x updates with PU updates for the ancillary modules scattered in between. You are behind and showing a low of updates, but updates do not start coming in until the modem is activated which doesn't happen (in most cases) until the vehicle is sold.
