So I was looking up something else on PTS and saw this just now (wasn't there earlier this morning)

And when viewing the details:

Zero byte file size? And Wi-Fi is necessary?

FDRS doesn't show anything right now, but then again I haven't actually gone out to the truck to connect and run a network scan (it might actually show up then). We'll see.

The 23-PU113-UNX-DC TCU connectivity update is the same way. 0 byte size because all it did was change the config in one location, so I think it is safe to assume this does the same thing. That was the first OTA I ever saw that said wifi was required.

I got this one this afternoon - perhaps coincidentally, it started downloading immediately after I reconnected the truck to the wifi here at work.

I'm out at the truck now connected up. FDRS still only says I have a TRM update available and the GVMS blocks are still there for the powertrain...but the Check Updates screen says it's downloading the update (truck is on house Wi-Fi right now as well).

Don't have any idea how long the download is...it might have already concluded for all I know, since it never actually says when it's finished downloading.

So having checked PTS again, I guess I can shut the truck down since it looks like the OTA is ready to launch.

After checking PTS again after shutting down it says it was successful and was listed as "FIRE-PRD-SOFTWARE-FNV2" for the gateway.

Not sure if it was as much an update as it was a test to see if my truck was 'paying attention'.

No files were harmed during this update apparently.

Thanks for that, I sat in my truck waiting for it to finish downloading for over an hour and all I had to do was shut it off and restart it. <30 seconds after restart, I got the successful message.
