I seen the Shifter issues some were having, and played with mine a little. I don't think it's that since it wont charge. I had someone on here run the VIN and its throwing P0B24:21 "EV Battery "A" Voltage Unstable: Signal Amplitude Less Than Minimum"

I do have another charger but haven't tried it. Been a little under the weather today, but I will try it later. I appreciate it the help.
I was referring to the onboard charger, not your EVSE. With that code, I don't think the onboard charger is the issue anymore. That duck is quacking like a bad battery module. :(

I'd call the BEV hotline and start a case number before you take it in. Might help get things rolling quicker.

Ahh gotcha. I'm still hopeful its just something minor but realistically I know its not. Too many instances of this happening. I did send Ford a message on here and they made note of it, but I don't have case number yet.

This week was my week for this issue as well.

Had the truck in for 30k service and tires last Monday. When I got it back my range was low, but I never trust the estimated range anymore anyway...

Thursday I drove it 180 miles. I told it to charge to 100%, and had set a departure time. When the time arrived it was only at 98%, which was weird. And it seemed like I had no - or significantly reduced - regen braking. I ended the trip below 30% charge, which is way worse than usual... I thought it was the tires? Then it failed to charge overnight. It said it was a charging station fault (Using the Ford Charging Station Pro). I had to stay home because I didn't have enough charge to get to work Friday, but it did charge to 80% (my set limit) during the day.

On Saturday I needed to make the same 180 mile trip, so I set it to charge to 100% again. It only made it to 87%. Then the light came on. Dealer hasn't had time to look at it yet. And I'm not sure what I'm going to do without a truck for more than a couple days. -sigh-

I can't charge at all. Are you getting reduced power as well?

Also, I've seen some say Ford BEV paid for a lot of people to have a rental if it gets to that point for you.

Yes.

When the error first came up it didn't show reduced power (or I didn't notice?), but after a few miles it dropped down to 59%, and then on the way to the dealer 56%.

I had the power reduction issue happen once during the summer at full charge, but without the error message and the wrench icon. I took it in, but it didn't happen for them, and I've been driving it since without issue until now.

Mine started at 54% and is at 57% reduced power right now. Both motors show they have power and it drives fine, but without being able to charge I had to stop driving it when It hit 62%. Dealership is 40 miles away so I didn't want it to get too low. Good luck getting yours fixed!

Good luck with yours as well!

Hopefully the parts are flowing faster these days...

This has got to be a software issue. I’ve not had any issues, all of the sudden today I went out to the truck to this service message and the 57% power indicator…

My dealer says that I do, in fact, need a module replaced. They also said it should be done Friday.

🤞
Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

I hate to "me too" this, but I just had the same issue happen yesterday (charger error, power reduction to 54 or 57%, service vehicle soon light, and FordPass app "powertrain or 4wd" error). Made an appointment with my dealer, but they can't get to it until next Thursday. I imagine it will sit at the dealer for 10 days without anyone touching it with Thanksgiving being the following week. Not sure if I can drive it until then or not. This is my second lightning, and I'm not happy. I love the truck, but at 7k miles, this might be what makes us give it up and look at something else.
Same issue. Over a week for an appointment. No issues and then this just pops up. I can’t imagine they are all having problems at the same time. Software?

Agree it's implausible they would all fail the same week. Hopefully it is just a software issue, but it could also be that a recent software update that was programmed to "look" for battery or other powertrain issues (or a very specific issue) is starting to find them....

Friday is here... I heard Wednesday that the part wouldn't be in until today, so I likely wouldn't have my truck back until Monday.

Today the word is part Wednesday, maybe....

The dealer is being extremely pleasant and nice about it... but they don't have a loaner for me to drive, and pleasntness doesn't haul things around....

I dropped mine off on Tuesday, then on Wed they said it needed a new 12V battery because they couldn't keep the voltage up enough to do some recall updates. I've never had any issues with the 12V so personally I feel they ran it dead trying to do updates. Regardless I have to pay for a 12v and it was going to take 2 days to get a "Ford 12v" battery in. I think they also ordered a battery module but I was getting second hand information from the receptionist and he didn't have many details.

Got in to an earlier appointment today. Dealership confirmed “multiple bad cells”. No clue on parts or repair timeline yet. Did say it would be a lengthy process. The only thing said with confidence was, we don’t have any loaners.
