I would’ve bet the farm my 2023 Lightning displayed charging status on the dashboard even when the truck was off, but fast charging.
My 2024 is blank. Is there a way to see the status without opening the door every time?

Use your Fordpass, assuming you are using the app.

Yeah, I used the app. Just thought when I used to sit in my 2023, the dash showed progress without the truck being on or accessory. Thanks y’all!

My truck has to be on to show it. I think. Haven’t fast charged in a couple months.

In my 2023 Lariat the aux power has to be on to get the charging progress info on the dash or big display. Full “ignition” is not necessary.

Yeah, just leave it in accessory.

I saw somebody in my local Walmart parking lot a few months ago with a Mach-E and they were connected to the EA charger and as I walked by I noticed that the driver's door was open and the person inside was reading a book. I didn't think about it until later but I wonder if they thought the car had to be off to charge?

I leave my truck in accessory with the HVAC going. Doesn't seem to affect how fast it charges.

When I plug in when the truck is on, it apparently reverts to accessory mode? I have to press the start button before I can drive away. Does that sound right?
