Yep, he is the only one to ever embellish during a form of marketing. Also, WTF did consumers expect when in the elapsed time after announcement, we ended up going through the greatest inflationary period in 3 decades?

Farley and Ford did virtually the exact same. Yes they did launch the Pro at $39k, but it was essentially a unicorn that very very very few people ever got at that price. Their conversion rate has been abominable as well. Remember, Ford planned and was ramping up to 150k/year demand. YTD is 28,300.

I was on the list. For $100 why not? Despite being ugly it had a bunch of cool innovations that mostly never delivered (stretched exoskeleton for a frame, earlier production than the competition, an insanely reasonable price tag...). If the thing hand delivered on most of those promises I probably would have joined the fanboys in line to pick mine up.

LOL, no, the price did change from the initial release, Ford delivered a good product though and it was worth it and in a somewhat timely manner.

The ct trimotor with 500miles of range, 14k lbs towing and 0-60 under 3 seconds was only going to cost 70k$. Uhm, er, ya, that didn't happen.
It's 320 miles, 11k lbs and cost...100k. It will allegedly do 0-60 in 2.6 seconds though.

Regardless, even if the ct wasn't "embellished" there is a long history of projects that never were. Tunnels, tubes, taxis. All bullshit from day one but some people just can't help themselves.

The guy is a billionaire, good for him, he obviously has fooled enough people and continues to do so. It's a cult at this point, I'm not buying it and never will.

I'm not even that invested in Ford, I'll go with the best option, GMC might be it in a few years, we shall see.

The Flash is such a better value than the bottom level CT. Full size spare that doesn't take up bed space, frunk is so much bigger and useable, actual ability to see out of it as the driver... etc etc
