I find it interesting that most of the ones I have seen have been wrapped. I saw a pink one the other day I am also seeing red and black, etc..

Which is pretty awesome actually. In a sea of shades-of-grey compact SUVs, it's kind of refreshing to have something available that is truly different.

It's not for me, but I'm glad it exists.

I am not a fan of the Cyber Truck but we need it to be successful. Ford has a great plan for EV implementation that has been sidelined by Neanderthal logic. Need the market to make our case.

I've made my fair share of jokes at the CTs expense.
Then someone reminded me: "At least it's electric."

I have heard that wrapping a car or truck runs $5-10K. Crazy.

Wow
I don’t think there is any way I would spend that kind of money doing that, but I guess it’s better than fingerprints everywhere!

I was going to get clear PPF on the front of my Lightning, and the 3 places I contacted wanted $2K+ just to do that. I'm not willing the make their next 6 boat payments LOL!

Only because CT is made to be seen.

AGREED... I don't 'care' if anyone notices 'my' truck... I like it that way. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has 'missed' many LIGHTNINGs - they don't stick out like a sore thumb, and don't have people gawking all around them... like a Hollywood photo shoot or something... ridiculous.

on the other note about the CT being 'designed' to best fit on a car carrier... I'm sure that Tesla is little worried about how many cars can be on each trailer, including the CT, since, like any manufacturer, they simply pass on that cost to the consumer/buyer... 2 trucks per trailer, or 10 trucks per trailer, it doesn't really matter.

‘I have a feeling that was meant to be a joke.

I’d say those prices are on the high end; but obviously your geographic location dictates how much you’ll pay. To me, CT offers great versatility. Want a utility vehicle where you don’t worry about the skin, keep it stock. Want to turn it into your own design, then the angular body makes it really easy to wrap. This is the only vehicle I’d attempt to DIY a wrap.

Also, to me the wrap makes all the difference. There’s some really good looking wrapped CT. I saw one where the color and styling made it reminisced the 2010 Lamborghini Gallardo styling. Really cool. It definitely has sports car vobes with the right wrap and shoes.

I still don’t get all the hate on the CT, I could have bought one but went with the Sierra, doesn’t mean the CT isn’t a great option on its own right. Would have loved to own one, just didn’t fit my needs. Same as my last Lightning. Different strokes for different folks.

It's a very niche Hollywood future car look that many don't care for, and also some people don't care for the company and it's owner and would prefer to spend their $ elsewhere.
