I wonder if they can add the capability to mount a battery pack in a trailer and connect it to the system to recover range…
There have been a few patents but really what that is is the hybrid option. This is really for those who don't want to deal with gas at all.

There have been a few patents but really what that is is the hybrid option. This is really for those who don't want to deal with gas at all.
It also would allow you to have significantly more battery when you need it most.

Here in California we'll have to buy an F150 with Pro Power to charge our F150 Lightning during the Rolling Blackouts and windy days...

I'm right there with you. Would love to avoid the generator, I'm in NorCal and this wind is already freaking me out!

When are they going to have an actual extended range battery? Should be 300 mi minimum for the standard, 400-450+ mile extended atleast and I might have thought that I needed one... but on a truck... And If you're going to carry some payload and people or God forbid you're going to pull a trailer...

I leave for work every morning wondering if I'll have a home to return to WITH power.

Florida is looking better & better every day!
(But their Ford Dealers SUCK!)

Completely new frame and first f-150 with independent rear suspension. I think we're going to need f150gen15.com....

Quite a lot of details here, these guys test drove and previewed the lightning a few days ago.

1. Will the XLT have packages like the current F-150 such as 300A/301A/302A?
2. Is the panoramic moonroof available on XLT?
3. I second Mnknolan's question above, what is the towing range on the standard and on the extended battery?
