Received software OTA 7/27/21 over night and experience today

OTA update received.. see below. I haven’t seen any other posts about this yet. When I got in to go to work today I realized that all my settings were reset on the my view section of the dash and my truck did not continue playing xm like it was the night before. I can no longer listen to the radio or XM without it cutting over to CarPlay automatically whether I have any apps open on my phone or not that playing music.
So I feel like this software update created this playback problem that I didn’t have before. Other than that I don’t know if it did anything good for the truck. I tried googling what the update was about and I was unable to find anything. Drop me a hint if you know how to fix this issue or what the update was.

Every Video game company puts out pages of info on any update they do.

One of the largest auto manufactures on the planet won't tell you what they updated.

Maybe they have no idea what the update did either.

I turned the truck on and off a few times and it is letting me listen to the radio for now.. but yeah this is some bs they don’t tell you what the changes are!
I had a 17 4runner before this and I got emails like a month before they would send an update thru to the head unit and it detailed what they were doing. It was never much bc that truck had no tech at all. But the heads up was nice.

I work for a tech company that is light on patch notes. Drives me bonkers too, and I work for them! Hard to tell customers what changed when Dev keeps it close to their chest.

This is more of a company philosophy type thing. Ford's software division doesn't want others getting too nosey about what they are actually doing. And possibly doesn't want people "stress testing."

You know what is funny to me, I had a feature start working (SecuriAlert Schedule) on Monday morning then got the notification that they had updated the app a day later... Not sure what's going on. It seems like a large disconnect between FordPass and Ford and notification of what's being fixed.

FordPass updated today 3.27.0 My Journeys updated plus "quality improvements"

Do you have to be connected to wifi for this to happen? I've yet to receive an update

Shouldn’t have to be since it has a cell modem inside.. but I do have my truck connected to my home wifi bc I don’t have cell service where I live

FordPass updated today 3.27.0 My Journeys updated plus "quality improvements"

I can’t even lock or unlock or start my truck now with FordPass since they updated the app!! Buttons are gone!

I also received the 1.6.0 OTA update and the FordPass 3.27.0 update.

For the OTA update, the truck *seems* to shift smoother, but that may totally be in my head. Has anyone else notice this, or any other changes?

For the FordPass update, I was hoping it would fix the issue where everything works except setting a Securialert schedule, where I get the error below. But the update didn't fix it.
