Regarding the foam, we have taken down your recommendation.
The smell is not the burnt electrical smell, it comes from the UL94 flame-retardant nylon 66 external casing and the full insulation inside of the adapter.

This is the first time we see this in 8 years of activities. The best thing to do is to make a complaint towards UPS if you have the time to do so. Some drivers are clearly doing their job wrong.
