  1. 50 kWh DC Fast Chargers popping up all over Wisconsin

Until this is resolved, we’re not going to see many new 150 kW plus chargers In Wisconsin. https://captimes.com/news/government/wisconsin-could-get-more-electric-vehicle-chargers-if-not-for-one-law/article_68042aba-8d4a-11ee-adfb-bb89f0159d55.html After having my lightning for a year, I feel...

  3. New charging port weather kit ?

That's odd, I just ordered and got a confirmation.
  4. Active Air Dam System Fault

I had a bad actuator that the dealer replaced. No errors since being replaced two months ago.
  5. FCSP - unable to connect to CSP wifi

Ford also sent me a new FCSP when it wouldn’t connect to my new router.I installed it myself, so no discussion about reimbursement. If you do need an electrician, it will only take them about 15 minutes.
  6. Should you charge everyday.

When your truck hits the limit, be it 90% or 100%, there is no longer load on the circuit other than powering the charger, which happens regardless of being plugged in or not.
  7. Sunrun wanting to install Charge Station Pro on 50Amp circuit

With a 50 amp circuit the charger can be set to draw 40 amps (80%) and it won't be a problem. If they haven't been on site to look at things, I don't know why they are defaulting to 50 amps.
  8. Priority Update: 22-PU-1009-MIL-DTE Calculation

As I watched the GOM go from 300 to 200 over a 50 mile drive yesterday I came up with an idea to please all types. How about Ford adds a toggle in the config screen with two modes. "Accurate DTE Calc" and "Lie to Me DTE Calc" This way the ones that complained about the lost mileage when the GOM...
  9. No Preconditioning for over a week

At this point I think the trucks just messing with me. It hasn't preconditioned for over a week (other than one day when I refreshed the app to trigger it). Then yesterday I worked from home because of the snow storm, and as I sat at my desk the app told me the cabin preconditioning was done...
  10. Priority Update: 22-PU-1009-MIL-DTE Calculation

I think most here totally agree. It's ridiculous how it went from being very accurate to needing to have a third-party app to plan a trip.
  11. Ford dealers won't be required to have 24/7 charger access.

I agree. I think we're in for 5 to 10 years of a real charging mess. Installing a charger isn't profitable and won't be for a long time. That leaves government to subsidize the stations or someone like Ford to force the dealers to install them. Dealers aren't prepared to be convenience centers...
  12. Priority Update: 22-PU-1009-MIL-DTE Calculation

I have no experience with how the update will work other than what @Pioneer74 said, but prior to the update my 180 miles was very accurate. I've driven several hour plus trips, with the accuracy of the expected range being +/- 5 miles. I'd rather have a little conservative vs. the alternative.
  13. Priority Update: 22-PU-1009-MIL-DTE Calculation

Mine updated last night also blowing through the 80% charge limit, charging to 100%. Range says 324. If this doesn't adjust to a realistic number after driving a while I'm not going to be happy:mad:
  14. Charging times with Ford Mobile Charger

Here you go. https://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/bitstream/handle/2027.42/154859/Woody_Maxwell_Thesis.pdf?sequence=1 “Lunz et al. show that battery lifetime can be increased by reducing the target SoC to lower values, or by minimizing rest periods at high SoC. Therefore, battery charging should...
  15. Charging times with Ford Mobile Charger

Most of the info I read says length at 100% is a bigger concern than charging to 100%
