It's like magic. No PPO yesterday. Has PPO today. Same Ford app v 6.3.0 that I have had for a week.
Now if only we could turn it on with the truck off.
I agree that all road users should pay a road use tax, or some other way to support that infrastructure. However having a differential in registration based on fuel type vs other established methods such as vehicle use or weight seems punitive.
All registered vehicles in a state could pay a...
In Oregon we pay additional registration and the legislature recently passed a transportation bill which will charge EV owners a mileage based fee. However it has been placed on the ballot for people to vote on/down. So will see what happens over the next year.
I did not think that it preconditioned on L1, but it seems to be that it does. I will check again tomorrow morning, as overnight lows will be in the 30's. Hopefully my cabin and battery will be warm!
Interesting. That would explain why the L1 behavior has been erratic. It will some times start charging right away and others wait until 9pm to start charging. Depends on whether the system predicts it will reach the charge target in the time window.
I have been using the L1 for daily top-off...
I have two EVCS at home, a FCSP and the 110V portable charger from our deceased Chevrolet Bolt. Is there a way to set up different charging profiles for each? I would love to be able to charge immediately when plugged in to the 110V line while keeping my FCSP high voltage use to overnight only...
agree 100% with the heated steering wheel. Never knew about them until our first EV, and it is now a must have.
And would be great if dealerships had all vehicles available to their loaner fleet. It is good advertising and if the rides and would be some rather good advertising of their products...

Well, if the googly eyes fall off, no big deal. But if you are in a state with a mandatory front license plate then having the tape fail and losing the plate is a big deal.
if you drill where it is marked, and take care not to plunge, you can use screws to install the bracket. If you take the bracket off the screw holes are all but invisible, unless you are entering the truck in a concours event.
Good to hear about these longer trips in EVs. Makes me more confident in expanding my range.
What would be really nice is if states were to put DCFCs at all highway rest stops. We generally stop more frequently for bathroom breaks, and a quick top off while stopped would be very useful.
Front license plate bracket. My car just had the bracket, no hardware and not installed by the dealer even though Oregon requires a front license plate.
the install is easy. There are two dimples in the plastic trim which are easiest to see with the frunk open. I just drilled the plastic with a...
