I drive a lot of rental cars. Try to keep everything as much the same as possible. Too old to change.

Would not surprise me if they never restart production. The economics Just don’t work for Ford. On top of that demand is just too low.

wow, my truck is now out of service on week 3. I stopped driving it after the battery fault and it would not charge. Dealer did not take it until 13th so technically only been at dealer for two weeks now. How could they say NO first after 50 days out of service ? I would think that every state...

After multiple calls and attempts to get some information from my dealer, I finally received a call from a service manager stating that they are working with Ford to determine if my truck requires a full battery replacement or a module replacement. Didn't specify or knew what module it would be...

evening update. Just got another call from my service advisor. He told me that Ford will pretty much not allow them to do anything with the truck and a fix is not likely "for a while", probably June or later. He got approval for a loaner Explorer that I will be picking up tomorrow. Not ideal...

no real update. I never had it repaired, too expensive. For now I will drive it and like yours it still works so I will wait as long as I can. In the meantime I am dealing with the dreaded high voltage battery fault so this is kind of low on my list right now.
