  1. BLUE CRUISE 1 YEAR EXTENSION FOR FREE IS BACK! CHECK YOUR FORD APP. DID MINE THIS MORNING

I’m only looking at 22/23s to replace mine. If I stay in the truck I’m not giving up the 80A charge rate.
  2. BLUE CRUISE 1 YEAR EXTENSION FOR FREE IS BACK! CHECK YOUR FORD APP. DID MINE THIS MORNING

I was able to "purchase" mine, as well, but Ford is buying my truck back by the end of the month. Hopefully the deal is still on by the time I get into my next Lightning :O
  3. Good or bad dealers in eastern Los Angeles county

Chino Hills Ford has been servicing my Lightning since 2022. Their service department has been nothing but stellar.
  4. Free charging credit with new truck?

Not sure but I am in the US and I do own a '22. I never activated or used my credits and I believe they were good for 2 years so I have a few more months to use them if I have them.
  5. Free charging credit with new truck?

OK, so don't use the EA app so that explains that. Thank you both.
  6. Free charging credit with new truck?

Awesome, thank you! Found that, now it's connected. I have a different credit card on file here than I do in my EA app. Nothing shows up in my EA app. Not sure if it's supposed to but how do I find out my free kwh balance?
  7. Free charging credit with new truck?

I have to dig up this old thread because I never activated my free charging...and now the app has changed so none of the instructions I find or discussions I read apply to the current settings :O I can't find this anywhere online or in the app These options aren't available in the current app...
  8. PA: $200 EV registration fee starting in 2025

If this is the case, then they shouldn't be imposing a privacy invasive device since reconciliation can be easily accomplished via yearly odometer reads.
  9. Has anyone tested ‘24 heat pump?

I know what heat pumps are and they operate exactly as I described them and they have the design limitations I correctly identified. All AC units are not heat pumps. Heat pumps use a reversing valve whereas non-heat pump AC units do not. In my desert home I have a heat pump whereas my coastal...
  10. Has anyone tested ‘24 heat pump?

I'm a firm believer in heat pump technology but I'm skeptical they make much difference in an EV. Many, maybe most, AC units in the SW desert use heat pump technology. With the development of multi-stage pumps that technology is increasingly utilized in more moderate climates, as well (but it...
  11. PSA: Lightning Pro Power Cover back in stock

Is there a mechanism to keep it from being stolen?
  12. How long will our batteries last?

The strength (and weakness) of a statistical model hinges on the assumptions of the researcher and how the variables are input into the model. First, we deconstruct the historical data presented in the cited articles: Those data make the following claims: Cars that are nine years or older...
  13. How long will our batteries last?

I've already responded to this several times: Citations are required for novel or controversial information. It's not novel or controversial of me to point out that wear leveling and voltage levels of lithium-ion cells have to be within spec of one another. I don't know why you're being so...
  14. How long will our batteries last?

I'm not anti-EV and I'm here because I own a 2022 Lightning. I am disputing the misuse and mischaracterization of statistical data to promote EV battery longevity that is in contrast to what is already known and non disputed elsewhere. The source of these data I've been citing is contained...
  15. How long will our batteries last?

I disputed your singular formula and explained why it was incorrect and I also described the ways in which you misrepresented the articles you presented in support of your position. Also, I did provide a realistic expectation for the Lightning battery pack based on longitudinal studies of...
