I never believed self driving cars would exist in my lifetime... then I realized they only need to be better than the average driver and that is a pretty low bar.
It will still be a long time before I use it.
No 1 is because the doors are locked. Check your lock settings and change as desired.
Personally I like Ford's implementation, others cars I own will never open with the handle when locked. Pulling twice is better in an emergency.
I was looking at bigger build volumes too but ultimately the price for a fully enclosed printer won me over when the local MicroCenter got a few in stock last spring. Rumor has it there will be a multi-color add on later this year. It has been trouble free so far after a couple dozen print...
I have not printed the shifter mod (yet) but have the Elegoo Centauri Carbon and have been very happy with it. It is much easier to use than my prior entry level unit and I think it has unmatched value at 300ish dollars, it easily compares to others at $500+. Its so easy to use and everything...
I bought the Extang Solid Fold 2.0 from RealTruck.com and it looks to fit your requirements. No tools or modifications to install. It can leak but that doesn't bother me and most of the time it doesn't.
Edit: never noticed any reason to fiddle with the tailgate after closing it.
When all else fails... disconnecting the negative from the 12v battery for a minute or so often clears things up.
Edit: i see you tried this already after rereading more carefully
@TaxmanHog @Administrator can you move the build date stuff to its own thread... while interesting its way off topic here

I love my Emporia and use the app to change the charge rate regularly. By default I keep it at 20 amps but dial it up any time I need juice in a hurry.
Edit: I just confirmed that the lowest setting is 6A (at 220v).
Yeah, I got mine with the truck and was surprised to see the price via Ford accessories. Very happy with them however, they work great to strap a 6gal can of dino juice for the mower in place.
