Too bad there isn't some type of reflective material that you could stick on the sensors to spoof it into thinking you were looking at all times. I'm sure at some point someone will come up with something!
Same here on my end. Updated the DSP and now whenever the door gets opened you hear a pop from the speakers. One thing that I did notice is the DSP "update" doesnt clear from FDRS. Goes through the whole thing and even updates the database but it still shows as an available update no matter how...
I am starting to think it was something to do with my phone. It never gave me a failure message on the Tesla app, just the truck itself. I have an android
I was so pumped to charge too! I have no idea what the problem was..
I even DCFC at an Evolve - NY station in Victor, NY and had no issues. Peaked at 174KW so I assume it wasn't the truck that was causing the issue!
Select chargers in CA and NY have the ability to charge non-tesla vehicles so I didn't supply the adapter. They have the adapters installed on the chargers.
This weekend I traveled to Rochester, NY to visit with some friends and had an opportunity to try out the Tesla DCFC in Batavia, NY. Well, it didn't go too well unfortunately. I pulled up the station on the Tesla app, selected the "charge your non-Tesla vehicle" and then clicked on the charger...
Brother, you have one of your motors not functioning! Or it could be extremely cold. My recommendation if it isn't cold, reset the truck by turning it off and opening the drivers door for a couple minutes then try restarting the truck. Kind of like the old ctrl, alt, delete for trucks!
Does the amp have a "power sense" feature? A lot of the amps these days have this due to most factory stereos having a 5v digital signal. It will detect when voltage is applied to the input side of the amp and turn it on without the need for a 12v remote wire.
It absolutely 100% does. Using your analogy I would just wait until its back in stock, or maybe try another seller.. considering there are little over 3,000 dealers to choose from. It's well worth traveling hundreds of miles to find a Lightning at MSRP. It's been done numerous of times since the...
I purchased a meanwell 12V 100A DC power supply that I have used in my garage for years now.. It runs a 1000W Rockford Fosgate amp and you would never know its not hooked up to a battery. This is what I plan to use in my lightning. Saves having to run power wires from the firewall. Makes it...
