  1. Ford F150 Lighting - GVWR (Weight + Payload)

    8250 < 8500, though.
  2. Ford F150 Lighting - GVWR (Weight + Payload)

CO's state tax credit for EVs also goes up by a cool grand if 8500+ GVWR. Rivian came in at just over 8500 so it's not implausible... /me is hoping that it'll similarly be 8520 lb or the like.
  3. SunRun Require PV (Photovoltaic) system with F150 Lightning use as home back-up power

from this thread of mine: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/ford-80a-charge-station-pro.4139/ in turn from footage from within Ford's facilities while the videographer in question was on tour. That's a CCS connector. Home charging is clearly via AC and the J1772 pins supplied by the...
  4. SunRun Require PV (Photovoltaic) system with F150 Lightning use as home back-up power

Car & Driver didn't just invent these technical details… https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a36480020/2022-ford-f-150-lightning-charge-station-pro-explained/ Couldn't be more clearly stated.
  5. Questions for Lightning Event?

My guess would be that the former would work. Charging is clearly going to be AC, level 2, so as long as the non-pin part of the adapter (to lock on to the lip) doesn't foul on the combined CCS connector then it should work… in theory.
  6. Questions for Lightning Event?

Vehicle to home doesn't use the on-board chargers at all. It's DC from the vehicle battery to the wall-mounted inverter, part of the 80A EVSE setup. Ford's own documentation states the standard range battery + 80A EVSE can do Intelligent Backup Power.
  7. Lightning On Tour

Went to the Denver event just now. OneWheeled from my house since I live a mile away. The ride along was fun--I used to autocross. They were taking it easy in the curvy section but having them punch it in the straight and go pretty good in the first little chicane was entertaining indeed. Very...
  8. Ford needs to let us buy the pro with extended range

That leaves it possible that individual trims may be margin negative, of course, but I'd guess that it's just closer to cost than the other padded trims.

  10. (⚡Lightning) A video of possible(?) Lightning Pro (XL) interior

Without the Max Trailer Tow Package the standard range battery towing capacity is 5,000 lb. https://www.motorbiscuit.com/2022-ford-f-150-lightning-pro-best-work-truck/
  11. Can F150 Lightning EV carry a camper?

There are some out there that are quite light, but even with the 2k payload (vs 1,800 on the extended range and less yet for the heavier fancy trims) once you add in a driver and a passenger you're right at the limit.
  12. Standard Range Battery vs Extended Range Battery

From the various videos I gathered that the standard range (426 hp/775 lb-ft) will be right around 5.0 seconds 0-60. Half second slower than the extended range at 563 hp, which is just fine.

  14. Ford 80A Charge Station Pro

It's overdriving the DC plugs at the bottom of the CCS combo plug. Other cars with CCS ports wouldn't natively know (or have the ability to) route DC power out through them to the EVSE, afaik, as that's not part of the base spec. This is kind of why we have EVSEs: smart plugs, more or less...
