VIDEO: Full Walkaround Wrap + Tint
TINT: Brutal summer in Florida had Window Tinting as a top priority. Decided on a shop using XPEL PRIME XR Black. They measured the existing glass tint from the factory for the back windows to make sure it matched up with the Front windows for a nice even look around. Also went with a 70% front window shield tint to protect the dash a little and help with glare.
LED Light Bar WRAP: Now the wrap ended up being a bit tricky for the shop I went to. Partially due to how new this truck is and them not having many forums or references to go to for the application. They started with around a 3.5mm thick vinyl that was giving them a lot of problems due to how deep the led bar goes back under the hood and trying to get full coverage plus handle all the angles. After a few hours, they told me they'd need a full day to get it right so I picked up my truck to bring back the following week. They found XPEL had a template online for our LED Bars but they (XPEL) had no feedback yet from any installers about the template. Long story short the product is better as it's an 8mm wrap BUT there are exposed areas all around due to the template design and limitations of some of the angles present. Overall I was happy with the final result and the amount of time the shop invested into getting this done as best they could. I know they ended up eating some cost due to the time and using the XPEL product but the exposed areas are mainly noticeable to me and knowing how it looked before, but it's 100x better than the OEM look and how much the light bar stood out on the Stone Gray color. If anyone is interested in additional angles I can add some different shots at night and other angles.
