Was scrolling the Tesla subreddit and found some pics posted by a user who visited the NYC event. Hope these will be useful.

AMEN! That tablet looks like an over-sized iphone in the front of an Uber driver's car! Flush mounting it will make it look more like it is part of the dash. And I hope it is sturdy, becasue I keep imagining it with a broken screen like so many iPads in my house!

Interesting location for this early in person event. I wonder why they picked NYC over say Houston or Fort Worth? I wonder if NYC is one of the largest F150 markets?

I think it’ll be just fine.
No different that the screen in the Mustang Mach E not to mention Tesla.

It's FRED, not FRUNK.

I'm getting the XLT to avoid that huge screen. I prefer the 12 inch screen nicely designed into the dash plus control buttons below. (Current F150 design so there are lots of pics out there)

My wife and I went to NYC a few years ago. Didn’t see a lot of trucks. We did see a small crowd of folks watching a guy trying to parallel park one in Manhattan. I can’t imagine trying to find big enough parking spots for trucks in the city.
