My Lightning is 2 months old. I don't flog it as I try to maximize miles/kWh. I make complete stops before I move the shift lever. A few weeks ago the lever got stuck in "D." I turned the engine power off and the lever moved by itself into P. I just brushed it off as a one time thing. Well this...
I've had my Lightning for about 6 weeks and put 3300 miles on it. The weather here in Nor Cal has come down from average 60s-70s to high 40s-50s Farenheit. I am still averaging 2.4 kwH/mi but my range is reduced by about 8%. Are other owners seeing similar reduction? Thanks.
Dealer hasn't called me yet. Yesterday was the 1st time I was able to log into United and check the status and low and behold it happened to get delivered that day.
Ford also sent me the "rolled off the assembly line" email and photo today, lol.
Edit: Dealer just said I can pick up tomorrow :D
The Ford website shows as still in production. In my experience, the website is not accurate or up to date. When I was waiting for my Powerboost last year, it was already at the dealer and took several weeks to show as delivered.
Just read an article saying that Farley does not want Lightning owners to be able to buyout their leases. Can anyone confirm this? I was planning to lease and buyout early.
On my lightning order page, San Leandro added $7k to MSRP. I bought 2 vehicles from them in the past. An email to the salesperson and GM were not responded to. Changed dealer to Walnut Creek and the sales price showed as MSRP.
