1968 ford mustang mach 1 fastback. Just kidding...I have 9 kids. Until they can invent a way for me to drive multiple vehicles at the same time, I'm good with my Lightning.
Now with temps in the low 50's on the way in and 70's on the way home, I am in the 2.3 range pretty consistently for my 50+ mile trip each way. About 30 of it is highway miles @ about 75mph. The rest are backroads at about 40 or so. I don't accelerate agressively which I think eats into that...
"The Weapon". Had a woman on Storrow drive in Boston last year yell at me for "Using my truck as a weapon" when she wouldn't let me merge into traffic from the on ramp. My kids insisted I keep it as the name.
Good luck with your new whip and welcome! The Search option with the magnifying glass in the upper right hand corner is your friend if you have questions. A lot of very smart people on this forum with great experience and advice!
During the winter months I charge to 100% 4 nights a week because my commute is over 100 miles. Had it 19 months, and as of yet no problems with the battery. I think you are good. Good luck with your truck, hope they fix it quickly.
You don't run into issues with the phone falling off the lip? Doesn't look like there is much clearance in the first few pictures and even less with your phone hanging off.
Maybe some night i'll go out and swap tires with my wife's Expedition to see if she notices. Most folks can't tell the Lightning from a ICE F-150, those wheels would make it even more difficult to differentiate between the two.
I've done this the past two winters and it works out well. Once the weather in NH gets into the 60's at night, I'll likely lower my charge # to 85%, even though I do a 100+ miles per day 5 days a week.
You just summarized the plot for Caddyshack 2. I didn't care for it, much like I don't care for the feelings of Tesla owners who now have to share their chargers with us filthy Ford people :)
